“Please note that in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education that online checks may be carried out as part of our short listing process.  The Trust has considered its duties under the Equality Act 2010 as well as good practice in recruitment and can confirm that the sole purpose of any such online checks will be for the purposes of compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.  In the event that any issue identified as a result of the online check were to mean that an offer was not potentially made to an applicant, they would be given the opportunity to address any concerns arising out of this.”
